IPS continue to develop and improve our printing process, trialing new print techniques and inks to give you the highest possible image clarity and quality. We call this process Foto-Finish Dry Offset Printing as it gives us the opportunity to faithfully reproduce the most detailed designs in photographic-quality print.
How it works?
Foto-Finish dry offset printing is achieved through a combination of our own specialist in-house colour separation department, the in-house manufacture of laser engraved plates and production on our 8 colour printing presses with highly skilled and experienced print operators.
Benefits
Dry offset printing has the potential to be applied to a huge range of packaging formats and sizes making this decoration technique incredibly versatile.
This particular technique is also highly cost effective and significantly lower in cost than other comparable decoration techniques such as IML & OML.
Flexibility is also a key advantage. Lead times for dry offset printing are often much lower than other decoration techniques and designs can be changed and quickly implemented without the need to scrap and re-order new stocks as with labels or sleeves.
Innovations
Recent innovations allow us to produce quality imagery on transparent materials such as PET and polypropylene. Traditionally dry offset printing on transparent materials was very challenging and often ineffective as the ink colours became overwhelmed by any strongly coloured contents inside.
IPS developed a print technique that when applied to transparent materials still manages to produce a strong, clear image on packaging even when filled. Pre-printing of a white background onto high-clarity substrates such as PET gives a colour-rich, opaque finish for a premium look.

Another variety of offset printing machine includes the dry offset printers. It is quiet easy to maintain and operate this machine. It is simple, durable and user friendly.
